Rain has been scarce here in Massachusetts lately. Sun and summery warmth plentiful. But today, well, it’s kind of crappy out. Chilly. Dark. Rainy. And I don’t mind. Because it’s Friday. (Happy Friday!) And what goes best with this kind of Friday weather? Homemade comfort food. (And red wine of course).
On the family dinner menu tonight we have: Ground Lamb Cannelloni with Bechamel Sauce. My husband started making this flavorful weekend dish about five years ago. And it’s apparently something he kind of made up. Why do I think that? Well. I wanted to share the recipe with you. So I tried Googling it in a myriad of ways. Went like four and five pages deep in the results, guys! And couldn’t find a single recipe that was similar. It’s a shame too because, trust me, you would’ve loved to try it out. Yes even those of you who don’t revel in eating baby animals like I do. Because you could follow the recipe but simply replace the meat with something else. So I’ll take notes and photos tonight and add its goodness to the internet next week. Anyway.
